Democratic Transition
Based on well-known democracy data, TJET records one democratic transition starting in 2002.

Based on the Uppsala Conflict Data Program, TJET records two violent intrastate conflict episodes between 1989 and 1997 (during two calendar years), involving two distinct armed opposition groups fighting against the government.

Amnesties
Comoros had one amnesty in 1995. One amnesty released political prisoners.

Domestic Trials
TJET has compiled data on six domestic prosecutions between 1978 and 2018. These include three regular human rights prosecutions of state agents, in which five persons were convicted; and four opposition prosecutions of state agents or opposition members, in which five persons were convicted.
