Democratic Transition
Based on well-known democracy data, TJET records two democratic transitions starting in 1993 and 2002.

Violent Conflict
Based on the Uppsala Conflict Data Program, TJET records one violent intrastate conflict episode in 1998, involving one armed opposition group fighting against the government. One conflict episode was internationalized by involvement of external state actors.

Domestic Trials
TJET has compiled data on 18 domestic prosecutions between 1998 and 2020. These include 16 regular human rights prosecutions of state agents, in which one person was convicted; one intrastate conflict prosecution of opposition members, in which no one was convicted; and one opposition prosecution of state agents or opposition members, in which no one was convicted.
