Terms of Use
The TJET Team maintains this website (“the Site”) as an effort to provide broad public access to information and comparative data (“the Datasets”) on transitional justice.
Your access to and use of the Site and downloadable content are subject to these Terms of Use. By using the Site or our Datasets, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by the Terms of Use. Please review these Terms of Use prior to downloading any Datasets.
These Terms of Use may be amended by us at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the Site and Datasets subsequent to us posting an amended version of these Terms of Use, you consent to such amendment.
No Liability
Under no circumstances shall the TJET Team be liable for any loss, damage, liability, or expense incurred or suffered which is claimed to result from your use of the Site or the Datasets, including without limitation, any fault, error, omission, interruption, or delay with respect thereto.
You acknowledge that these Terms of use constitute a non-exclusive agreement. Other parties may have ownership interests in some of the data and information (“Materials”) contained on the Site. The TJET Team in no way represents or warrants that it owns or controls all rights in all Materials, and we will not be liable to you for any claims brought against you by third parties in connection with your use of any Materials.
Nothing herein shall constitute or be considered to be as an express or implied limitation upon or waiver of the privileges and immunities of the TJET Team, all of which are specifically reserved.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. The linked sites are not under the control of the TJET Team, which is not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site.
No Warranties
You use the Site and the Datasets at your sole risk. The TJET Team provides the Site and Datasets “as is” and “as available”. We expressly disclaim to the full extent permitted by law all warranties of any kind related to the Site and Datasets, whether express or implied.
The TJET Team reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Site, the Datasets, or any means of accessing or utilizing the Datasets, at our sole discretion with or without prior notice.

We strive to enhance public access to and use of data that we collect and publish. We provide you with access to our Datasets free of charge subject to these Terms of Use. Use of data derived from our Datasets, which may appear in formats such as tables and charts, is also subject to these Terms.
You are encouraged to use our Datasets in creative ways. You may extract, download, and make copies of the data contained in the Datasets, and you may share those data with third parties according to these Terms of Use.
